What Prayer Is Really About

Prayer doesn’t change God; prayer changes us. It’s not about

convincing him of our will; it’s about surrendering to his will.

It is more rewarding to approach prayer seeking to understand

God, rather than in search of some favor. If we approach prayer

in hopes of growing in virtue and genuinely seeking his will,

we will never be disappointed.
